In the year 2023, Qalandar Baba Bukhari Sarkar’s (RA) spiritual successor Syed Shakir Uzair directed to initiate work on conceptualization of a mechanism for administering the affairs of the blessed Shrine and co-located Al-Rehman Research Centre. In this regard, he gave out the concept of creating a “Trust” which must be deliberately organized and smoothly run as per teachings and practices propounded by this eminent and illustrious sufi during his(RA) lifetime.
The “Trust” was named “Qalandar Baba Bukhari (RA) Trust (QBBT)”. A proper code of the trust was drafted which constitute detailed guidelines for running day to day affairs at the blessed Shrine, as well as “Al-Rehman Research Centre”. After a long process for seeking approvals from different government departments and institutions, the trust was finally approved and registered by The Government of Punjab (Punjab Charity Commission) in June 2025.

A “Board of the Trust” is entrusted with the management of all activities under the chairmanship and
patronage of his(RA) spiritual successor Syed Shakir Uzair.
