The Fakeer Who Walked Into Divine Noor & Came Back to Heal The World
There are souls that don’t belong to time.
They are not born — they are sent.
When the world forgets how to feel.
When prayers echo but hearts remain hollow.
When no doctor can cure what hurts inside…
When the Qur’an is recited, but not heard,
When healing is needed not for the body — but for the soul.
That’s when a Qalandar walks the earth.
Not to preach, but to awaken dead hearts.
And in our time, that light is Makhdoom Syed Safdar Ali Bukhari (RA) — known to the world as Qalandar Baba Bukhari (RA),and also — Kakiyaan Wali Sarkar, , the embodiment of Divine Motherhood and Unconditional Compassion, A Malāmati Faqeer who stepped into society’s shadows so that others could find the way back to Light.
A Lineage of Light – Where It All Began
Born in the spiritually rich city of Chiniot, Qalandar Baba (RA) hailed from the noble Sadaat-e-Hussaini lineage — a direct descendant of Hazrat Jalaluddin Surkh Posh Bukhari (RA), who migrated from Bukhara to Uch Sharif in 1232 CE.
From this sacred family tree blossomed saints — all of whom lit lamps in the darkness of humanity:
• Shah Jeewna (RA) of Jhang
• Baba Moj Darya (RA) of Lahore
• Shah Ismail Noori (RA) of Chiniot
Qalandar Baba (RA) was not just their heir — He (RA) was the one who would carry the Divine Noor (Light) forward. He was Safdar Ali Bukhari, destined to be known as Qalandar Baba Bukhari (RA), Kakiyan Wali Sarkar. Qalandar Baba (RA) was a star of this same sacred constellation. Born into the Bukhari Sufi tradition, he belonged to the Suhrawardi silsila and was spiritually known as Owaisi — one who receives divine knowledge without a formal teacher.
The Day the Divine Light Struck — Jazb Begins..
He had no formal Murshid.
No chain of bay’ah.
But one night — during a big family gathering — a lightning struck his soul.
The Sufis call it tajalli-e-ilahi.
A divine flash/ explosion of light within the soul.
A breaking of the self/Nafs.
That moment stripped his ego bare.
And Faqr settled into him —
He (RA) entered a deep state of jazb —
that sacred state where nothing exists but Allah.
Most who enter jazb never return.
But unlike others who remain in that divine intoxication forever, he (RA) was sent back.
Sent back into the noise, the crowd, the chaos —
With a mission so powerful that shook the soul of humanity.
The Malāmati Saint Who Walked Into the Shadows
Qalandar Baba (RA) could have gathered a following.
Qalandar Baba (RA) could have become a celebrated saint.
Instead, where did he go?
To the places people avoid.
To the bazaar-e-husn of Lahore — the red-light district.
To those whom society had thrown away.
To hearts considered unworthy of guidance.
Not to shame, but to heal.
He (RA) lived among outcasts.
Married off 350 prostitutes.
Restored dignity to the disgraced.
Healed those rejected by the society.
And saw their souls when the world saw only sin.
Qalandar Baba (RA) wore the cloak of malāmat — of blame, ridicule, and misunderstanding — not to be followed or praised, but to ensure that all attention remained on the message alone.
Dhamaal — Divine Therapy
Initially, Qalandar Baba (RA) treated patients through Dhamaal.
Through dhamaal, Qalandar Baba Bukhari (RA) created a rhythm that tore through human blockages of NAFS & satanic webs.
He (RA) aligned the human body to Divine Noor.
So their trauma could move.
So their grief could break.
So their soul could breathe.
“What is radiation? What is music? From my perspective, music is a form of pain that emerges from deep within the one who sings it. It has no connection to poetry, appearance, or even to what is being heard — it will only be received by the one who feels from within, who is attuned, who listens with complete concentration. If their inner frequency is aligned, it will benefit them.”
— Qalandar Baba Bukhari (RA)
Cancer patients began to report peace.
Depression, anxiety & drug addiction began to lift.
Hopeless people began to weep — not out of sadness, but from feeling alive again.
Doctors doubted.
But the people?
They healed.
People who had no hope began to smile again.
Qalandar Baba (RA) once said:
“The youth no longer listens to Qur’an — but they still follow music. I bring them from rhythm… to Revelation.”
(Inspired By Qurb e Haq By Syed Baba Pg 10-11)

The Rise of Surah Al Rehman Therapy
Qalandar Baba (RA) and the Practice of Husn-e-Sama’at
Qalandar Baba (RA) revived the ancient practice of husn-e-sama’at — sacred listening.
“When Surah Rehman is truly listened to with full focus, it doesn’t just heal — it rewires your soul.” — Qalandar Baba Bukhari (RA)
“Whoever listens to Surah Rehman with surrender, conviction & full concentration—misfortunes break, darkness ends, and the sick begin to heal.” — (Thematic from Pg 10-12, Qurb e Haq By Syed Baba)In 1997, Qalandar Baba (RA) passed this secret to his spiritual heir — Syed Shakir Uzair, known as Syed Baba.
By 2000, programs on Surah Rehman Therapy were being broadcasted on national television.
It spread like fire, reaching thousands across Pakistan and beyond. — not through PR, but through Noor (Light).
Soon, international channels covered this method.
Patients arrived from across borders.
Hearts that had flatlined spiritually… began to beat again.“This is not medicine. This is Qur’an.
Not treatment. It is transmission.”
— (Paraphrased from Qurb e Haq By Syed Baba Pg. 12)
His Presence — Jalaal and Jamaal in One
Qalandar Baba Bukhari (RA) was both fire and fragrance.
Jalāli and Jamāli
A Marshal Faqeer — because his gaze carried discipline, his words cut falsehood, and yet… he wept for the orphaned and hopeless. People named Qalandar Baba (RA) “Peer Kaki Taar” in newspapers – not out of love but to ridicule him. To reduce his divine path to gossip, to headlines, to misunderstanding.
He was arrested. He was mocked. He was misunderstood. But Qalandar Baba Bukhari (RA) was no ordinary man. He (RA) took that title – drenched in sarcasm – and wore it like an honour.
He never used his name. He never claimed sainthood. But he rejected all praise and said
“I am not here for titles. I survive on pain… not popularity.”
(Spiritually aligned with Qurb e Haq Themes)

The Legacy That Will Outlive All Of Us
Until his final breath, Qalandar Baba (RA) healed with silence and remained in service to humanity. His (RA) life was nothing short of a miracle — a bridge between heaven and earth.
Qalandar Baba (RA) walked through FANA (annihilation) and returned with BAQA (eternity in Allah) — not to preach… but to revive the dead hearts.
Qalandar Baba (RA)’s Surah Al Rahman Therapy brought peace where medicine failed. Surah Al Rehman’s rhythm gave life where hope had died.
Thousands now find relief, clarity, and healing — not because of a clinic — but because of a Faqeer who heard the cry of humanity, and answered it with love… Qalandar Baba (RA) believed sound carries divine frequency. People laughed at first. Criticized him. Called him a sinner.
But when hopeless hearts began to glow… when dying bodies felt relief… Even foreign news channels couldn’t ignore it – they called it a “New Dimension in Spiritual Therapy.”
And today, that legacy now continues through Syed Baba (Waris e Qalandar), who carries the torch — Samaat e Surah Rehman continues to echo… bringing life, light, and divine peace to a world still aching for a healing.
You Didn’t Land Here By Mistake
This is not a biography.
This is a moment.
A doorway…
A moment to stop.
To breathe.
To feel.
You weren’t brought here by chance.
You were called.
So sit still.
Close your eyes.
And let the dhamaal begin — inside you.
Because maybe, like thousands before you,
you’re not here to learn about Qalandar Baba (RA)…..
You’re here to finally meet him!
Qalandar Baba Bukhari (RA)
