Energy Therapy
Energy Therapy teaches us to become a humble means of asking Allah to shower His Noor, His mercy and His strength upon another person.
There are moments in life when someone before us is weak, distressed or overwhelmed. A loved one may suddenly become unwell, anxious, frightened or emotionally exhausted, leaving us wishing we could do something to help.
Through the Faiz of Qalandar Baba Bukhari (RA), Energy Therapy teaches that the greatest help we can offer is not our own strength, but sincere remembrance of Allah and heartfelt dua made with complete presence before Him.
As explained by Syed Baba (Waris-e-Qalandar), this practice is founded upon one simple truth: The believer has no power of their own. Every strength, every mercy and every healing comes from Allah alone.
The Purpose of Energy Therapy
Every believer has experienced moments of helplessness.
A family member suddenly becomes weak. Someone is overcome by anxiety or panic.
A loved one is emotionally distressed
Energy Therapy reminds us that we are never without hope.
We can turn immediately towards Allah and pray with complete sincerity for the person before us.
Its purpose is to strengthen compassion, deepen our reliance upon Allah and teach us to pray for others
The Method
- If the person is conscious, gently ask them to close their eyes and become calm.
- Gently place three fingers of your right hand on the pulse (nabz) of their left
wrist while remaining completely focused upon Allah. - You should also close your own eyes.
- Release every distraction and become fully aware that you are standing before Allah,
whose mercy surrounds both you and the person for whom you are - praying.
- With closed eyes, focus, love & conviction say Allah…Allah…Allah… thrice in your heart
- Then make sincere dua, asking Allah to grant the person strength, peace, relief and healing.
- According to the teachings shared by Syed Baba, “Ali Haq” may also be recited
silently five times during this state of remembrance and prayer.
The Noor of Allah
The heart of this Faiz lies not in the placement of the hand, but in the state of the heart.
Syed Baba explains that when a believer becomes completely absorbed in the
remembrance of Allah, the heart is illuminated by His Noor.
With complete sincerity, the believer asks Allah that this Noor, by His permission alone,
reach the heart of the person before them through this act of prayer.
The pulse becomes a point of connection, while the heart remains turned entirely towards Allah.
This is not the transfer of your own energy. It is a humble prayer that Allah grant His mercy,
His Noor and His strength to another soul. Every benefit comes only by His command.
Complete Presence Before Allah
Qalandar Baba Bukhari (RA) taught that the effectiveness of this practice does not depend upon the hand.
It depends upon the heart.
If the mind is distracted…If the intention is divided…
If the believer becomes conscious of themselves instead of Allah…
Then the essence of the Faiz is lost.Energy Therapy begins when the self disappears from attention and the heart becomes fully present before Allah.
One of the most important teachings of this Faiz is humility.
The Noor is not created by the believer. The strength is not transmitted by the believer. The healing does not come from the believer. The believer is simply a means of making sincere dua while trusting that Allah alone grants whatever benefit He wills.
As Syed Baba teaches, when the heart is immersed in Allah’s remembrance, the intention is that Allah’s Noor and mercy reach the person in need, bringing comfort, strength and ease by His permission alone.
Important Reminder
Allah alone is Ash-Shafi, the One who grants healing, strength and relief.
Energy Therapy is a spiritual practice shared through the Faiz of Qalandar Baba Bukhari (RA) and explained by Syed Baba (Waris-e-Qalandar). It encourages sincere remembrance of Allah, heartfelt dua and complete reliance upon His mercy.
It should never be understood as a personal supernatural ability or as a replacement for appropriate medical care. If someone is experiencing a medical emergency, seek immediate professional assistance while continuing to make dua and placing your trust in Allah.
